Hey UFV students! The UFV HMC is partnering with GUS Medical & Veterinary schools for MEDTalks, a webinar series about medical school, the realities of patient care such as clinical decision making and patient management in a hospital setting. This webinar will be hosted by Dr. Olga Deengar, a graduate from the Saba University School of Medicine, if you are interested in becoming a physician, this event is for you! ♥️✨

This event will be held on April 14th 2026 on the Abbotsford UFV Campus in the Boardroom of the SUS Building, S3103 from 4:30-7:00pm. There will be snacks and refreshments provided while we view the webinar together!

Hey UFV Students! Join us this month for a tour of the Canadian Blood Services Centre here in Abbotsford! 💉🩸Learn how plasma is taken from blood, separated in the centrifuge, and how it is stored all while touring the centre, meeting staff and having some pizza! 🍕 If you want to, you can also donate blood while you're there, but no donation is required to join the tour. 💪🏼 This event is open to ALL UFV students!

To donate, you must be at least 17 years of age, in good health and feeling well on the day of donation. Government ID is required and you will be screened before donation to ensure eligibility.

This event will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 4-8pm at the Abbotsford Plasma Centre, 32700 South Fraser Way #75, Abbotsford, BC. We are meeting DIRECTLY at the Plasma Centre, NOT on UFV campus.

Christmas Cheer Mission Recap! 🎄✨

For our most recent event, the UFV HMC made Christmas card packages here on the UFV Abbotsford Campus last month. The executive team then went out to the Oxford Senior Care Centre and handed out these Christmas themed health info cards to the senior residents with a goody bag of some healthy snacks!

It was so great to give back to the community as a team for the holiday season, thank you to everyone who came to help make the cards, we appreciate you! ♥️

Christmas Cheer Mission Recap! 🎄✨

For our most recent event, the UFV HMC made Christmas card packages on the UFV Abbotsford Campus last month. The executive team then went out to the Oxford Senior Care Centre to hand out Christmas themed health info cards and goody bags with some healthy treats! Enjoy some photos taken throughout the event!

Hey UFV Students! 🩺🫀 This month, the UFV HMC is hosting a health and medicine themed games night! This will include health/medicine related trivia, operation and other fun games! This will be a great time to meet other club members, hangout and test your knowledge.

The event will be held on the Abbotsford UFV Campus in room B140, on Thursday January 22, 2026 from 5:30-9:30pm. We hope to see you there! 🧠🫁🩻🩺💊🥼
