Curious about growing fresh lettuce, herbs, or even tomatoes year‑round?

Join us for this hands-on introduction to hydroponics and learn how to create a perpetual growing season in Calgary—no outdoor garden required.

This workshop from UCalgary's Centre for Career & Personal Development explores the history of hydroponics, what can be grown hydroponically, and the essential elements needed for success.

You will also build a simple Kratky‑method hydroponic system to take home—it’s a great starting point for anyone looking to cook with fresher, home‑grown ingredients.

This workshop is free, and registration is required.
