A big thank you to our alumni Melody Dover (Visual Communications, ‘95; Interactive Multimedia, ‘03), Kyle Rolle (Tourism, Travel and Events Management, ‘21), and Rebeca Aghdasy (Tourism, Travel and Events Management, ‘21) for joining us at today’s ‘Brewing Connections: Student & Alumni Coffee Chats’ session. ☕️

As Founder and Brand Builder at Fresh Media, Melody shared insights on adaptability, creativity, and the journey of building a brand. Kyle, now a Commercial Insurance Administrator at Westland Insurance Group Ltd., shared his fresh perspective on resiliency and overcoming challenges. Rebeca, Holland College’s Student Services Advisor for Outreach and Awards, highlighted the impact of building connections and always challenging yourself. Our first offering of 'Brewing Connections: Student & Alumni Coffee Chats' was a hit! Stay tuned for this monthly initiative.

Last week, we hosted our first 'Brewing Connections: Student & Alumni Coffee Chats' session of the year!

A big shout out and thanks to Jonathan Bonaobra-Bryan (Accounting Technology, 2023), Andrew McCarville (Business Administration, 2009), and Sam Gallant (Medical Support Services, 2021) for sharing their career journeys and offering valuable advice to our Holland College students. The discussions were rich, covering themes of adaptability, mentorship, and vulnerability.
