NAIT academic staff are moving towards a strike vote after their Employer has failed to come to the table with a fair deal.

Support them by urging their Employer to respect NAIT academic staff:

Please be advised that the previously scheduled petition tables at CAB (today, Nov. 25) and Education North (Wednesday, Nov. 26) have been cancelled. AASUA received notice this morning that the Employer is denying permission for such activities to occur on university property.

We will be looking at our legal remedies regarding the Employer’s refusal to grant permission.

Thank you to all who took time to stop by a table last week and for all who volunteered at the tables. The momentum behind our petition is continuing to build, and this doesn’t mean our efforts have to stall.

We will be looking in to off-campus initiatives to collect signatures. In the meantime, we have instructions on our website detailing how you can help us gather signatures.
