Welcome to the Nigerian Student Association | University of Alberta (NSAUOFA). Nsauofa was formed in the Fall of 2010 by focus driven Nigerian students who wanted to form a vibrant forum and maintain a strong sense of solidarity among current and prospective Nigerian students at the University of Alberta. We exist to facilitate intercultural understanding between our members and other students at

the University of Alberta including our host community, Edmonton. We are one of the largest international student groups at the University of Alberta. We are determined to maintain unity among our members and encourage them to achieve excellence both in their academic pursuits and social interactions. Part of our overall aim is to enhance the smooth transition of incoming Nigerian students into the University of Alberta. We organize movie nights and educative programs such as workshops, conferences, and seminars, including orientation and cultural events for new students. For more info, please visit our website.
