University of Alberta Accounting Club As one of the most active and successful student groups on campus, our club acts as a channel for the accounting industry.

The University of Alberta Accounting Club (UAAC) has worked to the benefit of those with an interest in the accounting profession for over forty years. Our goal is to give students the opportunities needed to become well-rounded professionals and find their place in the business world. Through the Accounting Club, you will have many opportunities to attend networking events and information seminar

s. We also offer volunteering opportunities to help you build your skills while giving back to the local community. Anyone is welcome to join the UAAC regardless of your school, program of study or major. Please visit our office on the second floor of the School of Business for more information.

We are so excited to announce UAAC’s 2026/27 Co-Presidents: Rachel Kaup and Xinyue Yan!

Rachel was this year’s VP Marketing and Xinyue was this year’s VP External, and both led their portfolio to exciting achievements. They are excited to now lead the club with passion and dedication, and we can’t wait to see what they have planned!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Women in Accounting event where we had such an incredible group of attendees for an evening of learning, connection, and community!

With 70 students, 15 firms, and 32 corporate representatives in attendance, the event created a valuable space for meaningful conversations between students and professionals across the accounting field.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to the discussions, and helped make this event such a success. We are also incredibly grateful to our corporate partners and representatives for taking the time to support and inspire the next generation of accounting professionals.
