The Diversity and Equity Committee (DEC) Conversation Series, School of Social Work, Dalhousie University, in partnership with the Dalhousie Black Faculty and Staff Caucus (DBFSC) and the Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA), commemorates Social Work History Month 2026 with an interactive two-part panel discussion on “Who Governs the University? Public Good, and the Politics of Higher Education.”

The second panel is scheduled for 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (Atlantic Time) on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The International ‘Conversations’ Conference is the first hosted by the Diversity and Equity Committee (DEC) of the School of Social Work, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Virtual International ‘Conversations’ Conference offers an opportunity for critical conversations between scholars, students, researchers, members of historically and contemporary equity seeking communities, policy makers, and organizational leaders from across the globe.
