Computer science is changing. So are the opportunities.

The future isn’t just about writing code. It’s about using technology, creativity and problem-solving to make an impact in every industry, from healthcare and climate science to business, entertainment, cybersecurity and beyond.
 
That’s why, starting next year, our Faculty of Computer Science is introducing a revamped Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), with six unique majors designed to help students (you) build their skills and experience for the careers of today, and the opportunities of tomorrow.

We’re looking for our next Digital Content Strategist for an 8-month co-op term with Dalhousie University Faculty of Computer Science and ShiftKey Labs.

This is more than a social media role. You’ll have the opportunity to:
✨ Create TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, graphics and photo content
🎬 Conceptualize, film, edit and produce student and faculty stories
📱 Develop social media strategies and content calendars
📊 Use trends and analytics to grow engagement
💻 Tell stories about computer science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship
🚀 Build a real-world portfolio of work across multiple platforms and audiences

We’re looking for someone who can combine creative storytelling + strong video skills + social media savvy + curiosity about technology.
