Nominate your peers to be celebrated at the 2025 Green Gala! Three awards are now open for nominations. Deadline for Submission is Wenesday March 19th at 11:59 pm! Students do not need to be sustainability majors - but should be involved in the college in a significant way!

Sustainability Rising Star:
The College is full of up-and-coming talent in our first- and second-year cohorts, and this year we’re recognizing it! The Sustainability Rising Star Award will be presented to an outstanding first- or second-year student who embodies the spirit of the College. This person has been involved in improving the ESS student experience, is committed to promoting sustainability on campus, and is overall someone who facilitates a sense of community and belonging. Nominations must be made by third-year students or higher!

Graduating Star:
Our College wouldn’t be what it is without the contributions of our upper-year students. The Graduating Star Award recognizes an upcoming Class of 2025 graduate for their efforts to make the College of Sustainability a welcoming, fun, and vibrant community. This person has made a tangible impact on life at the College and will be deeply missed by returning students. Nominations can come from students of any year.

Sustainability Community Member of the Year:
The Sustainability Community Member of the Year has been an exemplary member of the community, and they deserve to be recognized for their efforts. This person has been a champion of the College – they’re a friendly face, a listening ear, and, most importantly, they’ve been involved in fostering a nurturing student environment. They’ve made it their mission to reflect the values of the College in everything they do! Nominations can be made for students in any year of study, by students in any year of study.
