Cet été, deux nouveaux visages se joignent au campus Kanata-Nord de l’Université d’Ottawa.

Grace intègre l’équipe à titre de créatrice de contenu. Étudiante de troisième année en marketing et gestion des technologies d’affaires à la École de gestion Telfer, elle contribuera à faire rayonner les histoires et initiatives du campus uOKN.

Djeima est étudiante de quatrième année en économie à la Faculté des sciences sociales et se joint au portefeuille Innovation, partenariats et entrepreneuriat du Bureau de la vice-rectrice à la recherche et à l’innovation (BRRI) à titre d’analyste en recherche de marché.

Bienvenue, Grace et Djeima. Avec un été rempli d’événements, d’activités et de créativité à venir, nous sommes ravis de vous compter parmi nous.

This summer, two new faces are joining the uOttawa Kanata North campus.

Grace joins the team as a Content Creator. A third-year Marketing and Business Technology Management student at the Telfer School of Management, she'll be helping bring stories to life from the uOKN campus.

Djeima is a fourth-year Economics student at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and will be joining OVPRI's Innovation, Partnership and Entrepreneurship portfolio as a Market Research, Analyst.

Yesterday, we spent the day at the uOttawa–IBM Cyber Range with industry partners from the Kanata North tech park.

What started as a tour became a live cyber crisis scenario.
Phones ringing. A data breach unfolding. Media requests coming in. A live TV interview for the CCO. A ransom demand from a hacker.

The pressure was real. The decisions were harder than expected.

The simulation gave us space to practice the kind of coordinated thinking that's hard to rehearse any other way.

A valuable experience for our team and partners. Thank you to the uOttawa–IBM Cyber Range team for building an environment where the learning feels anything but simulated.
