From a movie about Mars to the cover of a chemistry journal.

Congratulations to Pimjai Pimbaotham, just named winner of the Outstanding Graduate Research Award (PhD level) at Ubon Ratchathani University's Science Week in Thailand.

As a visiting research student at UBCO, Pimjai helped uncover how the building blocks of life may have first come together on early Earth, billions of years ago. Her work reached the cover of a Royal Society of Chemistry journal and connected researchers across Thailand, Canada and Japan.
