Hi SoPhS! We were wondering if you could please post this graphic today or over the weekend with the following caption:

Your voice matters, and we’re making it easier to be heard. Join students from across Ontario on March 24 to defend accessible education and tell the province to reverse the cuts. By showing up in numbers, we send a clear and unified message to the provincial government: students will not be silent when their futures are on the line.

🎟️ $10 – UW undergrads
🎟️ $20 – Non-UW undergrads (i.e. grad students, non-UW students)

This rally is organized by an external student group — WUSA is coordinating transportation to help you get there.

📣🏀LET THE MADNESS BEGIN!🏀📣
The 2025 NCAA March Madness basketball tournament tips-off March 17th, and SOPhS Athletics is excited to be hosting our annual bracket challenge! This year the bracket challenge is being done in partnership with the Rx2026 grad ball and entry will cost 5$ as a way to fundraise for the event Brackets will be scored as games are played, and at the end of the tournament and this year we’ll be going bigger with the prizes! Gift cards will be awarded to 1st🥇($100), 2nd🥈($50), and 3rd🥉($30) place brackets, as well as 1 random participant ($20).

Click the link in our bio after Selection Sunday on March 15th to create an account and build your bracket.🔗To be eligible to participate, you must complete your bracket before tipoff of the first game of the tournament on Tuesday, March 17th. Access to the bracket group will be given to individuals once the 5$ participation fee has been sent to [email protected].

SOPhS Social is excited to announce the return of Karaoke Night! Join us on Wednesday, March 18th from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at Revive Game Bar in Waterloo!🎤💫 The event is FREE for all pharmacy students! Sign-up is required to attend the event. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided! Alcoholic beverages will not be provided, but will be available for purchase.

Spots are on a first-come basis and are limited (75 people). SOPhS Social is SO EXCITED to see everyone sing their hearts out!⭐

The Rx2029s made their cohort competition debut last week, competing against the Rx2027s in a volleyball tourney! 🏐

After both cohorts won a game each, they faced off again in a hard-fought final. The final game was a close one, and the Rx2027s pulled through for the win! 🎉

Shoutout to our MVPs: Walter Le (Rx2027), Chloe Cabral (Rx2027), Molly White (Rx2029), and Eric Sun (Rx2029).

A huge thank you to all the players for their hard work, and to the fans for showing their support!

Now is your chance to own exclusive styles and rep your pharmacy pride!
Many fan-favorite styles and new arrival items! Choose from a selection of sweaters, tees, sweatpants, and hats - there’s something for everyone!

Important details below:
The order page will remain open until the end of the day on March 16, 2026
A minimum order of 24 garments is required to move the order to production. If the minimum order is not met, customers will be refunded and the order will not proceed.
The turnaround time is approximately 6-8 weeks for arrival on campus after the preorder page has closed. This means that orders will arrive in the Spring term.
SCH pick up, Pharmacy Pickup, and external shipping options are being offered on this product. $10 flat rate shipping anywhere in Canada for students not in KW during spring term.
All orders are final sale. No returns, no exchanges. Orders cannot be modified or cancelled past the close date.

SOPhS Athletics will be hosting another FREE spin class at Cyclone Spin Studio!

The details:
When: Saturday March 14th, 2026 @11:30am
Where: Cyclone Spin Studio (305 King St. W, Kitchener)
Event Capacity: 32 students

This event is open to ALL COHORTS on a first-come come first first-served basis. Be sure to secure your spot ASAP as there are only 32 bikes in the studio! LINK IN BIO!

We will reach out to you via email to confirm your spot in the class or confirm your spot on the waitlist (the waitlist always moves!).

If you reserve a spot but cannot make it anymore, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the class so we can give it to someone on the waitlist! This helps ensure a full class! A $12 no-show fee will be applied if you fail to attend without cancellation.

Looking forward to a fun afternoon with you all and can’t wait to ride:)

🏐 The Winter 2026 of the SOPhS Athletics Cohort vs Cohort Game is here!

The Rx2029s are making their cohort competition debut, taking on Rx2027s in a volleyball game. The winner will get bragging rights and the trophy!

All students who aren’t playing are encouraged to come out to cheer for their cohort! Good luck to both teams, and we can’t wait to see you all there!

Come join us for a fun night at Pub on King! Happening this Friday, February 27th, meet new phriends, dance, or enjoy some yummy drinks and food! Only 100 spots available for line by-pass so make sure to sign up ASAP! You will need to collect a wrist band from your social rep on Thursday in order to gain admission to the event.

The backroom at Pub On King will be reserved from 7:30 until 9:30 PM for those who would like to grab a bite to eat.

When: Friday February 27th, please arrive between 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm (this is a HARD cut-off for line by-pass)
Where: Pub on King 77 King St N, Waterloo
Sign-up deadline: Wednesday February 25th at 11:59pm

Send a Valentine’s Day Candy Gram 💌 to your pharmacy phriends (or secret lover😉)! Each student will be provided one FREE candy gram to send to a fellow pharmacy student of their choosing 🍬Don’t worry, every student will receive a candy gram even if they are not sent a message!

Come visit us in the Lobby to send a handwritten note:
- Thursday, February 5 from 12-2 PM
- Friday, February 6 from 1-2 PM

Students may fill out the Google Form in our bio instead to choose who they would like to send their candy gram to and a message they would like on it.

The form will close on February 7th at noon, and candy grams will be available for pickup at a table in the main lobby of the pharmacy school on February 12th from 12 - 2 pm ❤️
