Looking for a flexible way to begin your post-secondary journey?

Fanshawe’s Institute of Indigenous Learning is pleased to share Indigenous Higher Education Pathways, an opportunity for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit learners who are considering college, returning to education, or looking for a supported first step into post-secondary learning.

For Fall 2026, learners can explore Indigenous-focused and foundational courses through a variety of learning formats:

💻 Asynchronous Online — complete your coursework online around your own schedule.

🖥️ Online Synchronous & Hi-Flex — join live online classes at scheduled times, with hi-flex options available for select courses.

🏫 In-Person & Community-Based — learn face-to-face at Fanshawe’s London Campus or through select courses offered in community.

Eligible learners may have their tuition covered through the Indigenous Higher Education Pathways initiative. Limited funded seats are available in each course.

These courses can help you:
• Experience college-level learning before committing to a full-time program
• Build confidence returning to school
• Explore Indigenous perspectives and areas of interest
• Earn college credits
• Work toward future admission or program requirements
• Explore part-time or full-time college pathways
• Connect with Indigenous faculty, staff, and supports

Not sure which option is right for you? The Indigenous Pathways Engagement Advisor can help you explore your goals, course options, admission requirements, tuition support, registration, and next steps.
