Imagine hearing your own work on an IMAX screen. 🎬🔊

After months of hard work, OIART students Jayden and Ava had their project selected by industry professionals as this year’s winning project, earning them the opportunity to experience their work on the big screen at IMAX headquarters.

We also got an incredible behind-the-scenes tour while we were there!

Huge congratulations to Jayden and Ava on a very well-earned win, and a big thank you to Devin and the IMAX team for continuing to make this experience possible for our students. ❤️

We talk about the limitations of LTC in post-production, explaining that it requires constant speed to be read back, which works fine for live sound and music recording but not for the stop-and-start nature of post-production, where BITC (Burnt-In Time Code) takes over.
