Updated September 2 at 6:35 a.m. - Power has been restored to the London Campus and buildings will reopen as usual on Wednesday, September 2. All regularly scheduled work, classes and events will resume as scheduled.

Due to an electrical safety concern, everyone in buildings F, G, H, L and K at Fanshawe's London Campus (1001 Fanshawe College Blvd.) is advised to evacuate immediately.

People in other buildings should avoid the area but may remain on campus. London Hydro will be on scene shortly to investigate a hydro issue. Updates will be provided by email and on social media channels.

🚨 Scam Alert! Fake "Party Bus" events

Attention new and returning Fanshawe Falcons: Be cautious of "party bus" events being promoted online. Campus Security Services is warning students about fraud involving unofficial "Frosh Week" events during move-in and the start of the school year. These events are *NOT* affiliated with Fanshawe College, even if they claim to be connected to student groups or Orientation.

✅ Fanshawe College does not host late-night party bus events
✅ Official events are promoted on Fanshawe or FSU websites (fanshawec.ca or fsu.ca)
✅ Be wary of unfamiliar ticket websites
✅ Watch out for offers that seem too good to be true

If you already bought tickets or if you have shared personal or financial information, contact your bank immediately. If you see a suspicious promotion, report it to Campus Security Services. Stay informed, trust your instincts and help keep our campus community safe.
