And we're off! The 2026 Fall Term of the Licentiate in Theology Program launched tonight with Dr. Murray Watson's newest course: Redeeming the Texts of Terror!

Dr. Watson is our first course out of the gate, leading 24 students from across Canada, representing the dioceses of Edmonton, Fredericton, Yukon, Kootenay, Nova Scotia & PEI, Ontario, Huron and the United Church of Canada. We wish them well in their studies!

The Practice of Pastoral Care and Counselling

Congratulations to The Rev. Shirley Doney, our most recent graduate of Huron University's Licentiate in Theology Program. Deacon Shirley was unable to attend our Spring Convocation ceremony. We give thanks to Archdeacon Matthew Kieswetter, Archdeacon of Eastern Huron, for bringing Convocation celebrations to Shirley in her home congregation of the Church of the Epiphany in Woodstock, Ontario.
