Cast introductions, part six!

Alia Hogeveen – Arthur Conan Doyle
Alia Hogeveen is a fourth year student majoring in Psychology, and this is her first time participating in a Crandall Theatre production! Outside of theatre, Alia has spent her last year of university co–leading worship at Grounded, and enjoys spending her free time going for walks outdoors, reading, or baking. Her character, Arthur Conan Doyle, is a bit of a loveable idiot. He’s got big dreams of becoming a doctor, an even more far–fetched belief in mysticism, and a big, not–so–fearless heart.

Emma Mercer – Dr. Joseph Bell
Emma is a first year Bachelor of Arts and Science and Bachelor of Theology student. As a first year, this is her first time participating in Crandall Theatre which she manages alongside being part of the Crandall Dance team and volunteering with CU Serves. If you can’t find her there, then she’s likely in the library studying or out with some friends. She brings the great Dr. Joseph Bell to life, displaying his intense observation skills. The doctor sees analysis as a form of training to become a better doctor and is doing his best to pass on this knowledge to Doyle.
