Strengthening Community Partnerships through Meaningful Engagement
Today, Thursday, June 4, 2026, it was a great honour and privilege for City Institute of Higher Learning (CIHL), Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, to welcome Keith Guptill, Deputy Chief of Operations of the Moncton Fire Department, to our Head Office on a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening and advancing our collaborative relationship.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful dialogue, mutual understanding, and the exploration of future areas of cooperation between our institutions. Strong partnerships between educational institutions and community organizations are essential in building safer, more resilient, and more informed communities, and we are proud to continue fostering such connections.
On behalf of City Institute of Higher Learning, Prof. Appiah-kubi Clement, Deputy Director and Deputy Quality Assurance, warmly received Mr. Guptill and conducted a comprehensive tour of our facilities. During the visit, Mr. Guptill was introduced to members of staff across the Institute, allowing for productive interactions and the sharing of ideas that reinforce our collective commitment to community development, education, and public service.
We sincerely express our gratitude to Mr. Keith Guptill for taking the time to visit our institution. His presence reflects the importance of collaboration, leadership, and community engagement. We greatly appreciate this gesture and look forward to building upon this relationship through future interactions, initiatives, and opportunities that will benefit both our organizations and the wider community.
