Hi everyone,

We are very excited to announce this year's first general meeting at M3-37F on the 3rd floor of mclennan library at 4:30 pm thursday the 28th of september(feel free to email us if you don't know where that is).

We will hopefully kickstart this semester's activities with a bang; bring your friends, your family, your dogs, barbeques ( ignore most of that but do bring your friends if they have any interest :) )

It's going to be a short and sweet meeting highlighting this year's timeline until the fateful 2023 Troitsky Bridge Building Competition that has been held annually since 1984 at Concordia university. This year it's being held on the first weekend of March between the 3rd and the 6th. Possibility of a Steel bridge competition in May 👀. We are also going to be there to answer any questions you may have about the competition and the club's activities.

Mcgill Bridge Building is collaborating with McGill Engineers in action to host our first ever Spaghetti Bridge Competition 🍝🤩!

You can join in teams of 2-4 through the sign up link found in the linktree in our bio! If you still want to participate but don’t have a team in mind, we’ll form a team for you!

Important information regarding 2021 bridge building competitions!

The CNSBC (Canadian National Steel competition) have officially announced that the 2021 competition will be hosted virtually!

If you wish to extend your classroom knowledge through a practical steel design project, join the McGill Bridge Building! This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your design conception, analysis, construction planning, and professional skills.

Troitsky Bridge Building Competition (wood bridge design) have also confirmed that their event will be carried out remotely! AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Solidworks will be used to carry out this competition.
