The DEEP Impact Internship Program provides students with practical opportunities to develop their skills in research and knowledge mobilization through work on a project supervised by a Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy (DEEP) faculty or associate member.

Selected interns work on their projects for 10 hours per week for 13 weeks, in addition to attending the weekly DEEP Impact Seminar Series where they will learn from experts across the full range of DEEP's faculty expertise and develop personal, academic, and professional skills. At the end of the semester, interns design and present a poster about their contributions to their project at the DEEP Student Poster Showcase.

Countdown to Convocation! Meet Ryan Dvorak, Faculty of Education's valedictorian for this year's convocation. The Faculty's second valedictorian from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Ryan, who has earned his B.Sc. (Honours), will have a personal story to share with us and some words of wisdom the entire audience will be able to learn from. In an interview with the McGill Reporter, Ryan said support from family, professors and peers shaped both his academic and personal growth.

Ryan will cross the stage to get his degree and then take his place at the podium on June 1st during Education's ceremony, which starts at 10:00 AM at the Tomlinson Fieldhouse. We look forward to feting all of our graduates for their wonderful accomplishments!
