A workshop for Sustainable Livestock Management in Canada was held in Quebec City on November 27-28, 2025. The workshop was jointly organized by the Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement - IRDA and faculty members from the Macdonald Campus of McGill University, with support from the Seed and Branch Program of McGill's Bieler School of Environment and professional moderation by Mathieu Rouleau (photo credit). Over 40 participants from across the industry joined in person and online for two days of invigorating site visits and stimulating brainstorming sessions. A prospectus is being written to summarize the principal research themes identified by the workshop delegates. A follow-up session will be held at the Macdonald Campus of McGill University in the spring of 2026 to frame out funding proposals based on those themes. Thank you to everyone involved for your participation and support!
