Niviana Academy welcomes student interns in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Consistent with Niviana Academy’s organizational values to offer youth opportunities to develop their leadership skills and hone their talents, Niviana is pleased to announce its 2023/2024 internship opportunities. While these are unpaid positions, interns will gain valuable work experience and demonstrate their potentials in real-world projects. Students in postsecondary institutions are also welcome to do their practicum with the Academy. Niviana welcomes interns for the following positions:
Digital Marketing Interns
Responsibilities:
• Develop content for marketing based on Niviana’s website http://nivianaacademy.ca/
• Develop ideas and implement promotion activities to enhance Niviana’s online visibility
• Increase Niviana’s online presence on social media, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Enhance the discovery of Niviana’s website on social media platforms
• Develop videos for marketing and promotion purposes
• Support Niviana’s overall branding and promotion activities
Business Development Interns
Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying potential local, regional, and international clients and business grants, partnership using research and logic
• Draft e-mails for communication with potential clients
• Assist in developing short-and long-term plans for Nivana’s expansion in the local, national, and international arenas
Digital Art Interns
Responsibilities:
• Sketch design ideas for event brochures, business letters, thank-you notes, invoices, and certificates
• Design marketing materials, including banner; tablecloth; name tags
• Produce creative writing, using imagination to tell Niviana’s story through lyrics, poetry, visual art, and/or any other form of creative art
Curriculum Development Interns
Responsibilities:
• Simplify content to engage diverse clients
• Suggest content for existing and/or new training programs
• Develop activities, materials, and resources to support training programs
Program Facilitator Interns
Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing the training venues and cleanup after training
• Assist in facilitating training programs
• Assist in preparing presentations for training programs
Internship Qualifications
• Ideally candidates are students pursuing an academic degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Arts, Education, or a related field of study at post-secondary institutions
• Interns are goal-oriented, reliable, professional, and positive
• Interns possess excellent writing and oral skills
• Interns are creative, talented, and strive to come up with better ways to do business
• Interns are honest and abide by the academic integrity guidelines
• Interns thrive in a startup environment
• Interns are committed to excellence and diversity

Application Process
Interested candidates may submit an electronic volunteer form on Niviana’s website, or email an internship application (letter of interest and resume) with the name of the internship position in the subject line to [email protected] . The cover letter (300-350 words) should clearly address how the applicant is qualified to undertake the responsibilities associated with the chosen internship and reasons of interest in the position.
