With the warmth of June comes movement, gathering, and growth in full bloom. 🌿

At Six Nations Polytechnic, this season reflects the strength of community — learning together, sharing knowledge, and carrying forward teachings rooted in language, land, and responsibility. Guided by Ga’nigohi:yo (Respect) and Kanikoriio (The Good Mind), our classrooms extend beyond four walls and into lived experience.

June reminds us that education is relational. It is built through connection — to each other, to culture, and to future generations.

What does living the values of Ga’nigǫ̱hí:yo: / Ka’nikonhrí:io (Good Mind) and being a good ancestor in your daily life look like for you?
(Drop your answer below!)

Not the big, once-in-a-lifetime moments — the small, intentional ones.
The way you speak to others.
The choices you make when no one’s watching.
The way you carry yourself in community.

At Six Nations Polytechnic, we talk a lot about living Hodinoshoni values of Ga’nigǫ̱hí:yo: / Ka’nikonhrí:io, a Good Mind — grounded in respect, kindness, and responsibility to one another and future generations.

Big or small — it all matters.
