History Department, Trent University

History Department, Trent University The Department of History at Trent offers an exciting, dynamic, and enriching atmosphere for the study of history at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

While our faculty members are strongly committed to research and publication, we are equally dedicated to teaching. Indeed, we value small-group learning, close student-to-faculty ratios, and innovative teaching and research approaches. Geographically, we offer courses that range from Europe to Latin America, Canada to the Middle East. Our course selections offer a variety of themes, such as labou

r and working-class history, cultural history, terror, war, and violence, environmental history, political history, transnationalism, crime, medicine, piracy, women's and gender history, and colonialism to name but a few. Contact us - we would love to hear from you!
