The Supervisor of Security & Emergency Services evaluates, plans and organizes routine and responsive life safety and security programs for all College campuses. Responsibilities will include the implementation and maintenance of access control programs including card access, parking lot enforcement, CCTV and ancillary equipment. The Incumbent will also carry responsibility for ensuring that required security services are being provided as per the contract. The incumbent will develop and maintain emergency response procedures related to physical security and ensure that preventative life safety systems and protocols are reviewed and inspected as per code and regulatory requirements. The Incumbent will provide support to all College security policies and emergency preparedness, investigative services as required, and lead crime prevention and personal safety programs. The incumbent provides support and guidance to the College community as it relates to the public safety of the College community and the security of the College’s assets.
This position has been designated as fully on-campus.

Reporting to the Manager, Reporting and Accounting, the Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for processing accounts payables for the College, using an Enterprise Resource Planning system. Accountabilities include the resolution of payable issues with College and vendor representatives; processing of approved expenditures in a timely manner; and providing information and support to the College community regarding AP processes & procedures to ensure the accounts payable function operates smoothly and efficiently.
This position processes purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, student refunds/bursaries, College credit card reports and employee expense reimbursements; creates and maintains vendors in Oracle PeopleSoft; and sorts and distributes mail for the Finance Department.

In this exciting new role, you will be working for Fleming College, School of Health & Wellness to oversee all elements of the Skills Advancement Ontario (SAO) initiatives which are funded by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges & Universities.

In addition to other duties, you will be accountable for planning, developing, marketing, implementation, administration and support operations of the assigned funded project(s). You will oversee all elements of the funded project relating to SAO – Health Services– financial, marketing/communications, curriculum coordination, data entry and analysis, and government reporting.
You will also be responsible for liaising with industry partners and project stakeholders to promote, plan and coordinate the delivery of industry-related training, contract training, and customized offerings that align with the various project outcomes and deliverables. You will also be responsible for planning the project from initiation, developing a project plan (including activities, financials and timelines), leading project activities, meeting project targets and deliverables, and preparing reports.

This position may be working fully or partially remotely. All employees are periodically required on campus. Fleming College’s COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Policy requires that all employees be vaccinated for COVID-19 to be permitted on campus or any Fleming worksite. Reporting to the Chief Building and Facilities officer (CFBO), the incumbent oversees the daily operations of the Office of the CFBO and provides administrative and executive services on behalf of, and in support of, the CFBO. The incumbent is the primary front-line contact for the Office of the CFBO, providing prompt, high quality and confidential support. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling the CFBO’s appointments, maintaining their schedule and files, often handling confidential and sensitive employee relations matters. The incumbent coordinates and monitors budgets for the CFBO and oversees the department budget development. This role also provides overall administrative support to various PRD committees, prepares various communications and correspondence and plans marketing events.

The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing projects required by the CFBO. This includes, but is not limited to; tool creation, business process improvement, software application scoping and review and process mapping for process within the physical resources division. This role coordinates and assists with projects of a strategic or tactical nature impacting the physical resources division. This includes, but is not limited to, project management, delegating tasks to appropriate units, conducting scans to inform project plan, objects and stakeholder discussion. Coordinates and reviews physical resources business / divisional requirements in accordance with the annual business plan.
