The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures delivers a wide variety of language courses, from beginner to advanced levels. We also offer courses in linguistics, literature, culture, cinema, and art, some of which are offered in English for non-Majors.

In addition to courses in the specific languages, we offer a series of trans-cultural courses taught in English acceptable for credit in French, Italian, Spanish and German.
