The Lambton College Student Administrative Council (SAC) joins the Sarnia-Lambton community in mourning the loss of Dane Nisbet, a former Lambton College student.
This is a devastating tragedy for all of us. We extend our deepest condolences to Dane’s family, loved ones and all who knew him. Our thoughts are also with those who were injured, and with everyone in our community touched by this senseless act of violence that occurred at the pub early this morning.
We are cooperating fully with the Sarnia Police Service and supporting their investigation in every way possible.
We are also working closely with Lambton College and encourage all students to access available supports through Counselling & Wellness. We ask that the privacy of those affected be respected as our student community comes to terms with this tragedy and begins the healing process.
