A Saskatchewan Polytechnic initiative with combines advanced drone mapping, satellite imagery and community engagement to create a living digital map that can be updated as the community grows and changes.

When an emergency strikes, every second matters. But in many remote First Nations communities, finding the exact location of a home, a road or a community asset can be a major challenge for first responders: without reliable digital maps, GPS navigation can fail.
