Holland College will be closed on Monday, Sept. 30th in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - A national day of mourning that commemorates the impact of the residential school system.

As a sign of solidarity with Indigenous communities, we are asking Holland College students and staff to wear Orange on Friday, Sept. 27th.

Orange was the colour of the new shirt that was taken from Phyllis (Jack) Webstad the first day she arrived at residential school at 6 years old. The orange shirt now symbolizes the erasure of Indigenous identities through the residential school system. Join us to show your support.
