KPU Alumni Association (KPUAA) was founded September 2, 2008. It represents over 74,000 highly skilled and diversely educated Kwantlen Polytechnic University alumni and plays an important role in the governance of KPU. The KPUAA's mission is to bring together KPU alumni and help them build lifelong relationships with the university and the community, increasing the institutionโ€™s reputation and the

impact that graduates have on KPU and the world by:

Enhancing engagement within our alumni community
Enhancing the value of being KPU Alumni
Enhancing KPUโ€™s reputation by fully integrating the Alumni Association into the life of KPU, and elevating KPUโ€™s public profile.

Thereโ€™s no prouder moment for an institution than seeing its own alumni give back through their talents - a true full-circle moment.

After completing his diploma in Advanced Visual Effects through the Entertainment Arts (ENTA) program in the KPU Faculty of Arts, Mayuresh Ambekar created a mural in Richmond, where the ENTA program is based.

Originally a trained mechanical engineer from Pune, India, Mayuresh chose to come to Canada to pursue an education aligned with his passion. From his first year, he had a vision: to create a mural in the very building where he studied, at the institution that came to feel like home. This became his first solo mural project in Canada.

Since graduating, Mayuresh has been working as a Marketing Manager with the Centre for Entertainment Arts. He credits his professors for helping him develop the cinematography and photography skills he continues to use today. Alongside his professional work, he has continued painting murals, reaching a major milestone in 2025 when he completed a large-scale mural for the Vancouver Whitecaps, further showcasing his talent.

Mayuresh continues to give back as an alumnus and is excited to take on more mural projects.

As the Chief Experience Officer and Co-founder of Oi Marketing, Kyle has built a career at the intersection of marketing, technology, and innovation. A graduate of KPU's Melville School of Business, he combined his passion for marketing and computer science to develop expertise across the automotive, building materials, and non-profit sectors.

Today, Kyle leads a Surrey-based agency serving clients across Canada, with a focus on SEO, web design, paid media, brand strategy, while exploring emerging fields such as AI-driven search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Kyle continues to give back to the university community through mentorship and by hiring KPU graduates, helping the next generation of professionals launch successful careers.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Reggie is passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with empathy, resilience, and confidence. Through her work, she supports individuals and couples facing anxiety, grief, trauma, burnout, life transitions, and more, always guided by her belief in the power of genuine human connection.
