Save the Date!

May 1st is the date to join us at York University for the 7th annual Women and Girls in Leadership and Sport Conference (WGLSC)! This year, we will listen & learn from top professionals of their craft in the sporting world- learning HER story.

Titled “ HER game, HER journey: the lived experiences of women athletes”,  we aim to explore and connect women and allies across the industry, to share the incredible journeys that exist around us, and build a community of sport professionals to support women at various stages of the life cycle.

🏒 The York Lions Hockey Program in collaboration with the Alphabet Sports Collective is hosting their annual Pride game! Alphabet Collective: Rewriting hockey, one shift at a time, as we celebrate inclusion and community on and off the ice. 💛💙❤️

Head over to Canlan Sports on Sunday, November 23rd, as the team takes on the TMU Bold. Join us earlier that afternoon for our pregame activities and community skate from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Pregame ceremonies and puck drop are slated for 2:15pm!

York Lions Hockey is officially back at Canlan this weekend! Join us as our team plays their first home game of the regular season against the visiting Western Mustangs. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM and can be streamed live on OUA.tv.

Heading into another matchup this weekend, the team advances to the 2nd spot of the Top 10!

With their latest win over the Brock Badgers, York has clinched the top spot in the OUA West and a bye through the opening round of the postseason. The Lions will conclude the regular season on Saturday against the Algoma Thunderbirds on senior day at York Lions Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:15 pm.
