Time: 1-2:30 pm

The ongoing, horrific violence in Gaza, along with the October 7 attacks in Israel, have affected many of us personally. They have also impacted our classrooms. Are you interested in joining the Religion Undergraduate Student Association Executive in the 2024-2025 academic year? Please join us on Friday, March 22nd from 12PM-2PM for our Spring Election and General Meeting! Joining the executive team is a great way to make your voice heard, help improve the undergraduate experience for all religion students, develop your skills, and make new friends!

The positions available in this election are President, Director of Internal Affairs, Director of External Affairs, Treasurer and Communications Director. Detailed descriptions of the roles and their responsibilities can be found in our constitution, which is available in our discord channel (use the link in our bio!).

Candidates should declare their intent to run at the election or should email [email protected] if they are unable to attend. All candidates are asked to prepare a short 1-2 minute speech to be presented at the election or will submit a speech of that length via email if they cannot attend/would prefer their speech to be read for them.

We encourage all students (even if you’re not running for a position) to attend! We will be having our General Meeting and a small social in the first hour, and then our Spring Election will begin in the second hour.
