Hello everyone!

We are looking for new upper-year student executives for the coming academic year. We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Director of Programming and Events
- Will organize the planning of French Club events throughout the academic year
- Will be responsible for supporting 1L executives in event planning
- Will coordinate event funding and promote events to the law school community

Director of Communications and Social Media
- Will update club social media (Twitter and Facebook)
- Will be responsible for responding to emails and connecting with possible guest speakers or french-speaking legal professionals and event attendees for French language events and symposiums
- Will assist in the creation of a French Club website
Note: previous website and/or graphics experience is not required, but is an asset!

All execs appointed now will be responsible for working with the existing executives to organize the clubs fair and recruitment of new members/1L execs. Fluency in French is not strictly required for either position but would be a preferred asset for the Director of Communications and Social Media position.

To apply, please send an email to [email protected] with a maximum 300 word statement of interest explaining why you would like to be on the exec team this year, how you plan on contributing, and any relevant experience you may have. Please indicate in your statement which position you are interested in. Applications are due by 5pm on August 27, 2021.

We look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to meet new executive members in September!

Sincerely,

Shannon Blaine, President
Sacha Poirier-Feraud, Vice President
Ainslie Pierrynowski, French Conversation Group Director
