Engineering Science Education Conference - ESEC First and second year EngSci students are invited to see what leaders in academia and industry are doing in their careers through 8 exceptional speakers.

The annual event in January is an opportunity for students to network and expand their horizons. The Engineering Science Education Conference (ESEC) is an annual one-day conference for Engineering Science students at the University of Toronto. The objective of ESEC is to broaden EngSci students’ horizons in their fields of specialization. Since 2006, we have been inviting world leaders in each of

our various options / majors to present lectures to our EngSci students, which explore research, education and career opportunities for young engineers.

📢REGISTRATION FOR ESEC2022 IS NOW OPEN!📢

Get the ticket for the ESEC2022 with your UofT email address! Details are given in the email you have received with your UofT account.
It is mandatory for Year 1 and 2 students to register and attend this event. However, Year 3 and 4 students are also welcome to participate!

Also, ask questions on Slido to actively participate in the conference!

Warning: If you do not register with your UofT email, the tickets will be cancelled. Make sure you are registering with your UofT email account!

He is a founding member at Akasha Imaging and leads the computer vision and machine learning team.

In his talk, he will be discussing the answers to questions regarding making a career in Machine Intelligence with his experiences, which includes dropping out of Waterloo and building startups in Silicon Valley.
