We're still celebrating the Victoria College Class of 2026!🎓

Last week, our campus was filled with pride, joy and accomplishment as graduates crossed the stage and marked the culmination of their studies.

In her remarks to graduates, President Rhonda McEwen said: "We are proud of you, grateful for you and excited to see where your journey takes you next."

Maeve Ellis chose to study economics and history not because she wanted to work with numbers or archives, but because she wanted to tell better stories.

A member of Victoria College's Class of 2026, Ellis combined classroom learning with hands-on journalism experience at The Varsity and the Investigative Journalism Foundation. Her research and reporting skills helped launch her career this spring as a reporter and associate producer with CBC Saskatchewan.

Armiti Zarbakhsh turned a childhood experience with health-care miscommunication into a mission to improve how patients are understood and supported.

A leader among Victoria College's Class of 2026, she earned the John H. Moss Scholarship, the University of Toronto's most prestigious undergraduate award. Through research, student leadership and health-care innovation, she worked to make care more accessible for people facing language and cultural barriers.

For Nina Yue, the study of Alzheimer’s disease is rooted in lived experience with a family member’s early-onset diagnosis.

That experience shaped a deep interest in memory, recognition and care, leading Yue to study human biology and psychology. Yue's focus on how the brain processes faces and how dementia changes that ability will continue as they head to medical school next. Yue is an outstanding member of Victoria College’s Class of 2026.

A recipient of the Silver “V” Award and Scott Memorial Scholarship, Landon See is an exemplary member of Victoria College’s Class of 2026.

From tutoring chemistry to supporting patients and families at SickKids, he built his undergraduate experience around helping others learn and feel supported. He completed a BSc in pathobiology and biochemistry with a minor in science, technology and society, leaving a lasting impact on the Victoria College community.
