We are excited to announce our Internal Strategy team for the 2023 - 2024 year, with our new VP of IS, Emily Wright! 🖇️

Emily:
“This is my second year being part of MIBA - I love meeting new people and travelling, which is what drew me to the club! I also love reading, hockey, and Formula One!”

Anthony:
“As a university and MIB student, my time is generally split between the holy trinity: (F1, useless YouTube videos, and procrastinating). Outside of that, it's been a pleasure to be a part of MIBA for the past two years, and I can't wait to start my third!”

Cristine:
On weekends, you'll find me studying in a cafe with a lavender iced latte or raspberry matcha. The most recent book I read is The Bell Jar, and my favourite movie is Spirited Away. I look forward to meeting new students and connecting with returning ones this upcoming year!

Yaminah:
“Hi! If I’m not trying to finish my TBR list then you can find me playing Ultimate Frisbee or trying to learn something new! Always love to diversify my day and make sure I’m having fun while I’m at it. This always helps me work and operate the best!”

We are proud to share our External Relations team for the 2023 - 2024 year, led by our new VP of External Relations, Saumya Murgai! 🤝

Saumya:
“Hi everyone! I am Saumya and I’m excited to serve as your VP External Relations this year! In my role, my goal will be to expand our industry relations and foster our strong relationships with our corporate partners and sponsors. I love all things food, fashion, dancing and travelling. People and conversations excite me because every story leads to another and before you know it, you know the person!”

Naomi:
“Hello everyone! My name is Naomi, a second year MIB student who enjoys playing hockey, loves theatre and has a keen interest in political science. As Director of External Relations, I could not be more excited about helping create more amazing events alongside such an incredible team!”

We are thrilled to introduce our Marketing team for the 2023 - 2024 year, with our new VP of Marketing, Sharon Tai! 📸

Sharon:
“Hi! I'm Sharon, a 3rd year BBA candidate and I'm so excited to be this year's VP of Marketing! On a day off, you'll probably see me downtown with friends or at home watching reality TV. There's two things I'll never say no to: a concert and a ski trip!”

Karen:
“Hola! I am a second year MIB student who loves creating media content. I love dancing to latin rhythms, art and music as well. See you around in our events!”

Lucas:
“Hello there! I am Lucas, an enthusiastic third-year student pursuing management and marketing. In my spare time, I find solace in the art of dance and immerse myself in KPOP music. I am eagerly anticipating the exciting events and opportunities that lie ahead with MIBA this year!”
