One of the first Congolese women in politics. She paved the way for generations to come. In June 2024, she did me the honor of answering my questions about her political journey during an interview at her place.

Rest in peace, pioneer.
May the Lord welcome you into his heavenly bliss.

As we celebrate and commemorate this International Women’s Day, my heart goes out for the forgotten Congolese women victims of the intermittent wars that the DR Congo continues to endure for almost 3 decades now.
Congolese sisters, let us rise!

Together we stand on the shoulders of all the brave women like Marie-Clémentine Anuarite Nengapeta and Kimpa Vita who paved the way for us.

With our heads up high, we stand - Phenomenal Women!
