OCAD U Student Press

OCAD U Student Press Every year, OCAD U students produce amazing projects that, for the most part, unfortunately fail to be recorded or archived in any tangible format.

From the very beginning, the founders of the OCAD University Student Press saw a great deal of potential in the amount of thought-provoking and relevant design research being done in this institution. After watching this trend repeated throughout the years, it became clear that this work and research needed to be showcased and archived in the form of an annual publication. This publication would e

ventually become what is known today as the Shift Series. Through this ongoing annual publication, the OCAD University Student Press is now on a mission to tap into the art and design-based thinking being explored everyday at our institution. What began first as a collaborative collection of Environmental Design and Industrial Design thesis work, eventually opened up to students from all design disciplines.

This is a really amazing, easy to read article that breaks down the long-lasting impacts that will result from Ford's changes to post-secondary education funding... all reasons why YOU should join the Student Walk Out on Wednesday, March 20, a protest action supported by the OCAD Faculty Association!

What is seemingly a small, inconsequential policy change is really a part of a long-term strategy meant to shift politics in Canada to the right.
