Quick organizational update: the executive team is working with Ryerson and TRSM to become an official alumni group. We hope to have this process completed as soon as possible so that we can support and grow our alumni network!

The call for nominations for positions in the TRMBAAA Executive Committee is now open.

We are calling for nominations for the following positions, each with a two-year minimum term:

• President: Responsible for day to day leadership of the TRMBAAA as well as setting the long-term vision for the association.
• Secretary: Responsible for all governance aspects of executive activities.
• Treasurer: Responsible for all organizational financial governance
• Executive Committee members: Various roles as needed

Self-nominations are welcome, as are nominations of fellow alumni you would like to see fill these positions. If you are nominating a fellow alumni, please make an effort to confirm with them that they are willing to run before the nomination process.

NOMINATIONS WILL BE OPEN UNTIL JULY 31, 2018. Following the close of nominations, elections will take place via digital poll with confirmed candidates. VOTING WILL CLOSE AUGUST 31, 2018 at which time the elected alumni will be announced via TRSM official channels.

Hello all!

We're looking take the next step with TRMBAAA and we want your input.

This is a chance for you to voice your opinions, talk about what you want from your alumni association, and, most importantly, what you need.

We'll be discussing our constitution, upcoming elections, and events for the next year.

Calling all changemakers - How will you ? Are you looking to make a visible impact? Want to build your resume and co-create with the City of Toronto?...then the ShapeLab is for you!

The ShapeLab is a new partnership between the City of Toronto Planning Department and Ryerson University’s Office of Social Innovation. This year’s city building initiative explores public realm enhancements and engagement as ways to encourage a more interactive streetscape as part of Toronto’s King Street Transit pilot.

Registration for the competition closes on March 11th, 2018.

Congratulations to the two TRMBA teams who participated the Walmart Operations Case Competition! Both teams represented TRMBA well in the competition and one team came out on top!

Manuel Avila, Kyle Cormier, Nino Hizon, and Rahul Nair impressed the judges with their new algorithm to improve Walmart's shipping logistics and earned job interviews with Walmart.

Another win for TRMBA that we can all be proud of!
