Mabuhay pamilya and Happy Independence Day (Araw ng Kalayaan)! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

On June 12, we celebrate the declaration of Philippine independence from colonial rule (for more than 300 years) of Spain in 1898. We remember those who fought for our rights and freedoms, our heroes then and now.

We are proud of our strength and courage as Filipinos. Lets continue to remember our brave heroes, as well as acknowledge and express gratitude to our present day heroes💙❤️💛

We are proud to celebrate our Filipino heritage during the month of June (and every day of the year), remembering our beautiful culture and and our roots. We are proud of the passing of Bill 217: Filipino Heritage Month Act in the Ontario Legislature and grateful for the Filipinos/Filipino-Canadians who work tirelessly in the country every day. From the Philippines to Canada and everywhere in the world, let’s continue to celebrate our heritage! 💙❤️💛
