Spanning the Gaps programs are aimed at giving both high school students and adults an accessible pathway to post-secondary education. Ryerson University Now (RUN):
RUN allows students at risk of dropping out, or who may complete high school but not consider continuing their education, the opportunity to earn a university course credit. By making university education accessible and non-threatening

, this program aims to motivate marginalized students to consider post-secondary education as a realistic option. Second Chances:
This program serves adults who seek to improve their credentials to qualify for post-secondary education. With a focus on low-income adults, the aboriginal community, single parents, and those with disabilities, Second Chances offers academic support and course work to improve high school grades for university admission. Road to Ryerson:
Road to Ryerson gives high school students who missed getting into Ryerson a second chance. The program works in partnership with the Toronto District School Board and Pathways to Education in Regent Park to identify students and determine what they need to meet Ryerson’s admissions standards.
