FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Israeli Students Association would like to thank B'nai Brith Canada for submitting a report to campus security and the University administration about violent threats made by a pro-Palestinian activist and Schulich School of Business community member.
Among other anti-Semitic statements, the activist said that the University "should burn to the ground" and that everyone at the University "should burn with it". The threatening comment was made in response to an inciteful post by the Students Against Israeli Apartheid (SAIA) student group.
This is more evidencing of the toxic influence of SAIA - they have invited Holocaust deniers to campus, organized a protest where Jewish women were told to "go back to the ovens", and incited hateful threats on social media. The University administration must take immediate action against the student group and their leadership.
