Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the development and testing of distributed systems.
• Experience in working in small teams with independent responsibilities, preferably in an agile software development environment
• Experience with object oriented, component based (or service based) software development using Java and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with various software development tools (IDE, Test tools, Software Configuration Management)

Education:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable technical or scientific discipline.

Assets:

• Working knowledge of networking and security concepts.
• Knowledge in artificial intelligence domains, (AI, ML, Deep Learning)
• Working knowledge of software technologies including database, virtualization (docker), node, OSGi, web applications, “big data”
• Experience with software defect tracking and version control.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks, libraries and APIs such as Angular
• Working knowledge of automated software unit testing, continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
