🏢 Quadra McKenzie Study - Engagement Opportunities! 🏠🚲

Attention Saanich residents! 📢 Don't miss out on a fantastic chance to shape the future of the Saanich community with the Quadra McKenzie Study (QMS) this summer. 🌳🏙️

The QMS is an important part of Saanich's Centre, Corridor, and Village plans, focusing on areas that connect various communities and serve as vital travel routes. To ensure the plan truly reflects your needs, engaging and integrating local input is crucial. 🤝

Here's how you can get involved:
- Map your experiences: Share your thoughts on the places you adore and areas that could benefit from improvements using an online mapping tool. Let's highlight what we love and where enhancements are needed! 🗺️❤️

- Community survey: Take part in a traditional survey to express your priorities and ideas regarding land use, transportation, housing, and public space enhancements. Your input will be invaluable📝✨ ️

- Pop-up events: Join us at these events to learn more about the QMS, have a chat with planners, and share your brilliant ideas. Let's collaborate to create an incredible future together! 🎉🗣️

Through the QMS, Saanich aims to develop a sustainable land use plan that accommodates new housing, employment growth, and well-designed Centres, Corridors, and Villages. This plan will shape the homes we build, the roads we travel on, the parks we play in, and the neighborhoods we call home. 🏡🛣️🌳

For the survey and more information about the QMS project, visit https://ow.ly/nsQb50P5zuv.

Let's keep the wheels turning and make every week a

Last year, the UVic community set a new record and biked 15,030km during Fall Go by Bike Week. Hop on your bikes and have a little friendly competition to help us beat that record!

Even if you are working/learning from home or prefer to get around on a set of smaller wheels like roller blades and scooters, all rides count!

Don’t have a set of wheels? No problem, the UVic BikeHub will provide FREE bike loans from May 24th - June 7th to all members of the UVic community!

Register using the link in our bio and check out Capital Bike for more event details!
