UVic School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures division de French at UVic est fière de lancer son tout nouveau micro-certificat d'enseignement en immersion française, en collaboration avec Continuing Studies at UVic et University of Victoria Faculty of Education, division Curriculum and Instruction.

Ce micro-certificat de 3.0 unités (2 cours) est destiné aux enseignant·es et futur·es enseignant·es d'immersion française.

Que vous soyez actuellement enseignant·e et souhaitiez renforcer votre assurance linguistique ou que vous soyez étudiant·e à l'université et cherchiez à vous démarquer sur le marché du travail, ce programme vous apporte les outils linguistiques et pédagogiques spécifiques nécessaires pour réussir dans un contexte d'immersion en Colombie-Britannique.

Dans le cadre du colloque Les français d’ici 2026, qui se tiendra à l’Université de Victoria du 15 au 17 juin, la CEFAN (Chaire pour le développement de la recherche sur la culture d’expression française en Amérique du Nord) et les coorganisateurs du colloque, Catherine Léger et Pierre-Don Giancarli, proposent une série de capsules linguistiques consacrées aux variétés de français en Amérique du Nord. Présentées de manière concise, ces capsules mettent en lumière les travaux de spécialistes du domaine. Le demi-marathon d'écriture organisé par est de retour pour une 2e édition, les vendredi 17 avril et samedi 18 avril prochains!

Deux journées pour deux publics différents, avec le même objectif: offrir des ateliers animés par des expert·es pour dépasser ses limites.

Le vendredi 17 avril, il s’agit du volet jeunesse du demi-marathon. Des élèves de 5e et de 6e années d'écoles du participeront à des ateliers de 9h30 à 14h pour explorer leur créativité. L’invitée d’honneur du volet jeunesse est , autrice pour la jeunesse et pour les adultes ayant publié plusieurs ouvrages, notamment aux , aux et aux .

Le samedi 18 avril, il s’agit du demi-marathon d’écriture tout public, qui se déroulera de 9h30 à 22h, avec l’autrice québécoise en tant qu’invitée d’honneur. Mireille Gagné a publié de son côté plusieurs recueils de poésie, romans et recueils de nouvelles aux , à , avec et aux . La programmation inclut également des ateliers offerts par , , .landry et d'autres intervenant·es.

Vous êtes passionné·es par l’écriture? Vous avez envie d’écrire davantage en français? Venez vivre cette expérience inédite, mini-retraite hors du temps, pour vous laisser inspirer et nourrir par la richesse et la diversité des ateliers, ainsi que la dynamique du collectif.
