The business of sport goes far beyond the game.

At NC, Sport Management students build business skills through a sport-focused lens, with hands-on learning in marketing, sponsorship, event operations and facility management, plus 400+ hours of practicum experience.

So what does that look like in practice? Students recently stepped into a simulated professional sports crisis, taking on media relations roles and running a press conference from start to finish. Learn more about the program here ⤵️

Niagara College Broadcasting students were back behind the camera this summer for another world-class sporting event.

As White Oaks Resort and Spa in Niagara hosted the 2026 World Junior Squash Championships, a crew of NC students took to the court and behind the scenes to capture a full-scale production. The student crew took on professional-level roles in directing, camera operation, audio, replay, robotics, streaming and technical support, bringing the championship action to audiences around the world.
