VIRGO NEW MOON 🌑🌈
For tonight’s Virgo New Moon, Kimiko created a ritual inspired by the colours of the meadows — an invitation to step out of muted, grey thinking and let the mind wander through fields of colour.
Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo. Violet. Pink. Magenta.
Like Dorothy stepping into the Land of Oz, colour invites us to see possibility differently.

On her recent pilgrimage to the legendary mountain refuge of Mary Magdalene in Southern France, Kimiko crafted flower essences from the surrounding fields — creating a rainbow medicine kit.
💛 Yellow — Mullein: vitality, courage, visibility
❤️ Red — Poppy: passion, life force, embodiment
🩷 Pink — Yarrow: tenderness, boundaries, heart wisdom
💙 Blue — Chicory: communication, spaciousness, release
💜 Purple — Larkspur: mystery, intuition, imagination
💚 Green: vitality, integration and the healing intelligence of nature

Virgo brings us back to earth — the body, the breath, daily rituals and the small gestures that make life beautiful.
After an intense eclipse season, this New Moon invites us not simply to set intentions, but to discern:

Sometimes a lesson stops you in your tracks. 🌹
I bought these flowers because they did exactly that.

I was walking by, saw them, and something about them made me stop.

Their complexity drew my attention. I just knew I had to bring them home.
And now, sitting with them, really looking at each flower, I started to reflect on the message they were showing me.

From the outside, they’re beautiful. Soft. Open. Almost perfect.
But when you really look into the centre, there’s so much going on.

Petals folding over petals. Some open, some tightly curled, some twisted into each other.
It made me think about how often we do the same thing.

What we show on the outside can look completely different from what’s happening inside.

And maybe that’s why nature is our greatest teacher.

It asks us to slow down enough to actually look.
Not just glance.
Not just see what’s obvious.
But really look.
To sit in contemplation. To notice what catches our attention and ask ourselves what it might be reflecting back to us.

What feels tangled?
What is ready to open?
What are we holding onto?
What are we not seeing yet?

Sometimes the lesson is right there in front of us.
We just have to stop long enough to see it.

So these flowers are staying here for a few days — to remind me to slow down, look closer, and pay attention.
Nature has a way of showing us things we might not otherwise see.
