Improving the HIV Care Cascade for Indigenous people in Manitoba: Barriers, Facilitators, and Recommendations for Systems Change

Presented by Laurie Ringaert and Dr. Linda Larcombe

October 7, 9-10AM

This webinar explores how community-based research can help transform the systems shaping HIV care for Indigenous people in Manitoba. Presenters will examine how structural barriers, relationships, and deeply held assumptions influence access to careโ€”and share actionable recommendations for change across healthcare, community, and policy settings. Grounded in lived experience, ethical spaces, and two-eyed seeing, the session offers practical insights for advancing culturally responsive and equitable HIV care.
