The first Acadia Biology Seminar of the semester will be on Sept 17th from 4-5pm in Elliot Hall room 207. Dr Henry Cordoba-Novoa is a postdoctoral fellow in the Migicovsky lab here at Acadia University. He will be presenting on agronomist and the effect of deleterious mutations on the genetic variance of traits of interest.
Snacks will be provided!!!

Join us this Thursday, April 2nd for the final Acadia Biology Seminar Series of the semester! The seminar will be from 4-5 pm, in Patterson Hall room 107.
This week, we are joined by Dr. Jay M. Biernaskie, an assistant professor at St. Francis Xavier University. Dr. Biernaskie will be presenting on the use of kin selection in agriculture. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us this Thursday, March 26th for the Acadia Biology Seminar Series! The seminar will be from 4-5 pm, in Patterson Hall room 107.
This week, we are joined by two Acadia University Master’s students. Katie Ryder will be presenting on how nest management influences gull movement and Jane Vurdela will be presenting on how insecticides used to control HWA effect bumble bees. We look forward to seeing you there!
