This educational program for hand surgeons will focus on new and advanced surgical techniques that help optimize pe-ripheral nerve repair outcomes in hand and upper extremity surgery. Our guest faculty of internationally renowned hand and peripheral nerve surgeons will share technical and procedural expertise through lectures, case studies and proce-dural videos, as well as interactive panel discu

ssions and surgical demonstrations. In addition, the faculty will facilitate a demonstration workshop where participants will have the opportunity to review and handle nerve repair tools. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Review nerve injury, nerve healing and the regenerative process.
- Understand traditional techniques for peripheral nerve repair; explore their advantages, drawbacks and outcomes.
- Learn advanced surgical techniques that may optimize outcomes in peripheral nerve repair.
- Discuss procedural pearls and pitfalls in the repair and protection of injured and compressed peripheral nerves.
